Аннотация

Статья посвящена самому длительному «защитному мандату» Швейцарии - по представлению интересов США на Кубе в период с 1961 по 2015 г. Автор анализирует обстоятельства, при которых Швейцарская Конфедерация взяла на себя эти обязанности, рассматривает роль, сыгранную швейцарской дипломатией в урегулировании разногласий между Вашингтоном и Гаваной.
