Abstract

Absolute synonyms or lexical doublets is only a special case of synonymy in the modern Russian language: правописание - орфография, промышленный - индустриальный etc. Тhe vast majority of synonyms differ by various parameters that might create a situation problematic in terms of culture of speech.
