- Abstract
- The article is devoted to analysis of the main poetic techniques of creation the image of Prince Vladimir in the life of I face in the Power book. The author of the Power book used previously written texts about the Prince, so the article compares the sources and the specified part of the Power book. The comparison revealed General methods and the main differences. The tools and techniques of creating the image of Prince Vladimir were analyzed: he is represented by Prince - righteous who is inseparable link in the dynasty biographical facts are accompanied by reviews of the Christian persuasion, scribe exalts the deeds of the Prince with the help of expressive style, he shows his psychological state with prayers. The choice of means of medieval scribes is determined by the taskswhich are faced by the author.
