- Abstract
- An analysis of Soviet sociology is presented. The key question is: how did she not leave the classic books? Explanation offered: Soviet sociology was United by the definition of its mission, which made writing academic texts a secondary occupation compared to texts addressed to a mass audience, notes that could influence government decision-making. For Soviet sociologists, the essence of scientific work was to recognize the current state of Affairs in society, not to create theoreticalconstructions.
