- The task of the article is to analyse the intention and interpretation of concepts Velikaya Rossia and velikorossy in Russian geography and ethnology at 1840-1890. The image of velikoross (velikorus) have been detalized in process of constructing of Ucraininan (Malorussian) and Belorussian national projects, defined ways of representations of own space and state.
