Abstract

In this article presented a view of development of the historical process from the perspective of praxeology. Author try to demonstrate that the basis of patterns, general trends and large variety of historical development is the activity of the subjects of the historical process that satisfied their needs. The distinction between historical patterns and laws of nature is revealed. A new view on the concept of the “end of history” put forward by F. Fukuyama is proposed. In the author’s interpretation, the concept should be understood as the formation of a global network society that does not have a competitive alternative, which is capable of improving and updating without destroying its basic foundations. At the same time, network social structures and institutions come into conflict with hierarchical structures. These structures are not historically promising but not a thing of the past. The author concludes that the further course of history is not predetermined and will be determined by the actions of people who satisfy their changing needs and realize the corresponding interests and uphold diverse values
