Abstract

The article describes the relative weight of the United States, China and Russia, which form a "strategic triangle" in the field of global economy and politics, as well as their relationship to each other. Special attention paid to the problems and prospects of Russia's development in the 21st century for the interests of its transformation into one of the world's leading power. The first section of the article is devoted on the U.S. contribution to the global balance of power and analyzes its role and place in the economy in the 21st century. The differences between presidents B. Obama and D. Trump to the processes of global globalization and White house's policy towards China and Russia also shown. Second section describes the role of modern China in world politics and economy. It analyzes how China intends to establish itself as a global power in this century and assesses Beijing's views on relations with Washington and Moscow. The third section is devoted to the problems and prospects of Russia's development in the 21st century. It shows the successes and shortcomings of the Russian government in implementing presidential programs aimed at restoring Russia's status as a great power, which was lost after the collapse of the Soviet Union. The article concludes same annalistic results concerning the role and place of the "strategic triangle" factors in the global coordinate system of the world community.
