Abstract

Clickbait-style journalism. Social media and its effect on journalism or the news industry isn't really a new phenomenon created by the internet - it's just that the internet has done what it does to almost everything, which is to make it easier to create, publish and spread than it has ever been before. The article describes the phenomenon of online text, it discusses linguistic and extralinguistic of features.
