Abstract
The article based on Pushkin period linguistic material traces the processes of both Russian journalese lexical standards' formation and literary Russian in general. The author's approach reveals some mutual relations between ethnolinguistic intuition as a kind of specific system on the one hand and language as the system of a certain sociocultural tradition.
