Abstract
The article is devoted to conjugation of one-syllable verbs with ending -ать in Russian. Verbs with fluent vowel (о or е) and verbs without fluent vowel are examined. Infinitives «жать1» and «жать2» are treated as homonymous forms. Changing of consonants is examined as well.
