Abstract
The article discusses the process of intensifying the borrowing of vocabulary in the modern Russian language. The influx of foreign language vocabulary is observed in all areas: in politics, in the advanced branches of science and technology, in financial and commercial activities, in the cultural sphere etc. As a result, the fight against borrowing is intensifying, discussion materials on this topic are published.
