Abstract

The article analyzes the principles of modeling reality in literary texts of the 19th-20th centuries. The interaction of the categories of vocabulary and grammar is considered in the variants of "semantic agreement" and "mismatch" (conflict). It is shown that these types of interaction are reflected in different ways in two directions of Russian prose - realistic and experimental.
