Lyubov Nedostupova

The author examines the vocabulary of the residents of the Talovaya district center of the Voronezh region. The indigenous population of the district center was initially was mixed, since in 1892 people began to come there from different places in Russia for the construction of the railway. In this place the author collected material in 2006-2009 for the Lexical Atlas of Russian folk dialects. This article covers only part the collected material concerning the vocabulary characterizing a person according to external data: height, degree of fullness, facial features, acuity sense organs, speech, etc.
