- Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of interpretation of the hero and timespace in the story of I.A. Bunin «The Ancient Man». The artistic dominants of this image and a number of motives actualized by him are revealed, as well as the relationship of space-time coordinates that provide a holistic perception of artistic reality and organize the work.
