- Abstract
The article dwells on the poem «We Have Defeated» by a remarkable Russian poet of the XX century George Nikolayevich Obolduyev, whose work is only now becoming known. The poem is analyzed in the context of the Soviet war poetry and is also presented as a vivid example of Obolduyev's poetics and writing style.
