Abstract
We analyze the factors that determine the level of subjective well-being of people over 60 years of age based on the data of the fifth wave of the projectWorldValueSurvey (2005-2008). it was found that the level of subjective well-being in old age is Most strongly influenced by satisfaction with the financial situation (rather than the absolute value of income), a positive assessment of one's health, independence in decision-making, and the ability to establish favorable relationships with the environment. For a high level of subjective well-being in old age, country characteristics such as GDP per capita are important. per capita, the level of democracy, equality, freedom and tolerance.
