Abstract
The possibility of axiomatization of sociology as a science is considered. Axioms (postulates) are formulated and arguments are given in favor of the fact thata combination of dialectical and formal logic is necessary for sociological cognition aimed at studying a dynamic object. The combination of civilizational, institutional and subject-functional approaches in the construction of epistemological models in sociology is shown, and models constructed using the concept of socio-economic formations as forms of civilization are presented.
