- Abstract
- Based on data from the European social survey (European Social Survey) analyzes attitudes to gender equality among migrants compared to the local population in Western and Northern Europe and in Of Russia. Analysis of secondary data shows that migrants are somewhat more conservative in their attitude to the status of women in society than Europeans. In addition, the attitude of migrants to gender equality is related to the gender specifics of the host society. A special place is occupied by Islam, which remains a stable, though not strong indicator of negative attitudes towards gender equality.
