Abstract
Mobilization is a core category of the theory of social movements. It refers to their transition from one state to another, when the composition of traffic participants, its structure and functions change. Key concepts of the theory of mobilization, types of resources used and methods of their mobilization, the balance of forces in a critical situation, the role of network mobilization, stages of mobilization States, "mobilization corridor" – the main topics of the article.
