Abstract
The article presents an analysis of the current social status of teachers of General education institutions in the Vologda region based on statistical data and theresults of a sociological survey. A comparative assessment of the indicators of social well-being of teachers and the population of the region as a whole is carried out, and measures to improve it are proposed.
