- Abstract
- Analyzing the book “rut and pass: macrosociological foundations of Russian strategies in the XXI century” By N. S. Rozov, the author emphasizes the importance of theoretical history and macrosociology for modern Russian socio-humanitarian thought. Based on the analysis, the lack of cognitive means used in the book to solve the problem is shown. The solution of the problem is possible on the basis of a synthesis of sociological methods and constructs of social philosophy, in particular, the concept of modernization.
