Abstract

It is the publication the documents from archive of KGB. They describe the developement by arrested engineers of the preliminary project of poweful railway engine, which was later called Tosif Stalin" ("IS"). The principially new approach to enginebuilding and atmosphere of the 30ties in transport and industry are reflected in the documents.
