- Abstract
- The article is aimed at surmounting stereotypes of the Soviet literary criticism concerning the writers' relations. The traditional idea of their almost complete like-mindedness was ruined after publishing Prishvin's Diary in post-Soviet time. The cause of the differences in their world-outlooks that remained secret for many years, was incompatibility of their view on the October revolution, the Marxist doctrine of the class struggle and dictatorship of the proletariat, on Bolshevism cultural policy.
