- Linguistic consciousness of Tatarstan population is discussed. The results of sociological investigations in the significance of the native language in youth milieu are presented. The author suggests to adopt Russian Charter of regional (republican) languages and minorities languages under the framework of "National Policy Strategy of Russian Federation through to 2025"
