- Abstract
- Ethnic and linguistic semiotic dimension of the folk prayer that is a text alive containing a verbal component, action prayers and subject prayers. The data from etymological dictionaries, dialects dictionaries anв special dictionaries on the prayer term are cited. That data enable us to identify the specific nature of folk pzayer folk semantics, e.g. retaining of the ancient notion of the prayer as a sacrifice. The semantics of a folk prayer is explored by the instrumentality of motive notion. The idea of movement reflecting folk prayer pragmatics is described as a structural one.
