Abstract

The article discusses the life and career of Rail' Gumerovich Kuzeev, the author of many scholarly works exploring various historical and cultural aspects of the Volga-Urals region. The year of 2009 would have marked the 80^th anniversary of the scholar. The author discusses Kuzeev's many contributions to ethnographic scholarship in Russia.
