Abstract
in the article, the history of the emergence and maintenance of tradition-the annual scientific and practical conference dedicated to the memory of Vasily Klementevich Puchinsky, an outstanding Russian comparativist, specialist in civil procedural law of the Russian Federation and foreign countries. VC. Puchinsky passed away in 2005. The first conference dedicated to his memory was held by the Department of Civil and Labor Law of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia in 2006. Since 2010, the conference has become annual, and since 2011 – has acquired the status of an international one. The conference committee annually collected and published the conference materials. The invariable subject of the conference is the study of problems of civil law and civil process in a comparative legal aspect.
